Tijdens mijn studies osteopathie werd mijn liefde voor het zenuwstelsel geboren en ik
blijf me hier graag in verdiepen, oa via mindfulness, compassie, Insight Yoga en Somatic
Experiencing. Neuroplasticiteit is voor mij het beste nieuws ooit, want het betekent dat
onze hersenen en ons zenuwstelsel plastisch zijn en dat we levenslang kunnen blijven
bijleren. Door de beoefening van mindfulness en compassie leren we zonder oordeel
licht te schijnen op onze huidige patronen, groeit dieper begrip voor de mogelijkheden en
kwetsbaarheden die dit mens zijn met zich meebrengt, en van daaruit kan ruimte
ontstaan om heilzame, realistische keuzes te maken. Via mindful yoga leren we hoe we
ons zenuwstelsel kunnen helpen reguleren, door in een milde flow eenvoudige
bewegingen af te wisselen met momenten van ‘rusten in gewaarzijn’. De integratie van
SE helpt mij beter begrijpen hoe toestanden van overweldiging in ons zenuwstelsel door
de ondersteunende aanwezigheid van een ander gecoreguleerd kunnen worden,
waardoor meer ruimte komt in dense of stagnerende aspecten van ons bestaan en we
meer vrijheid ervaren.

Ik bied voornamelijk groepslessen mindful yoga, mindfulness- en compassietrainingen
aan, alsook workshops en verdiepingsweken. Je kan ook bij mij terecht voor individuele
begeleiding, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels, zowel live als online.

Wetenschap en verbeeldingskracht gelden als bronnen van inspiratie. Creativiteit,
stemwerk, liederen en live muziek worden regelmatig geïntegreerd in mijn werk.
