Trauma Healing Belgium is a non-profit organization with the aim of spreading body-oriented methods for processing trauma. More specifically, this is about Somatic Experiencing® and the resulting methodologies. On the one hand, Trauma Healing Belgium organizes recognized courses, workshops and training, on the other hand, Trauma Healing Belgium is the Belgian Association for Somatic Experiencing® practitioners.
Who we are
Chris Camp – Director

Chris Camp
Chris Camp is the founder and driving force of Trauma Healing Belgium and also holds the position of Director/Chairman. He discovered the work of Peter Levine in 2012 through a demo video and was so impressed that he followed the training in London and the United States. Since Somatic Experiencing® was not yet known in Belgium, he was, together with 2 others, one of the few SEPs in Belgium. Convinced of the added value of this working method, he started organizing introductions in 2018 and establishing Trauma Healing Belgium vzw in 2019.
Chris works as a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner in Herent. He is the founder of the group practice De Hulping and the yoga studio Ayuryoga. He also teaches Zen-Shiatsu and 5 Rhythms.
Viktoria Grgurin
Viktoria followed the SE introduction in 2019 and then took part in the very first Somatic Experiencing training in Belgium. She experienced the growth and transformation of this training and was so enthusiastic that she started working in the organization and organizing training courses together with Chris.
Viktoria's background and Viktoria are as colorful as a rainbow. Originally from Croatia, born and raised in Vienna/Austria, she ended up in Belgium a few years ago. After a career in the marketing, communications and advertising sector, Viktoria has taught yoga for more than 10 years and has changed careers especially since the birth of her son.
Viktoria is co-founder of the yoga studio AyurYoga in Herent and works, among other things, as a yoga teacher in the studio and as a psychosocial counselor, personal & life coach and SEP in the group practice De Hulping in Herent and online.
She also organizes women's circles and “parents walking groups for expats”.
You can contact her in English, German, Dutch and Croatian language.
