What is integrative somatic psychology?
Integral Somatic Psychology™ (ISP™) is an effective somatic psychology approach that helps clients achieve optimal mental health by fully embodying their emotions. Read more in Dr.'s book. Selvam, The Practice of Embodying Emotions.
ISP is designed to shorten therapy times and improve various outcomes (physical, energetic, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, relational and spiritual) across all therapy modalities, including body psychotherapy systems such as Somatic Experiencing® (SE™) and sensorimotor psychotherapy.
It can also be taught to clients as a self-help tool for healing and improving their lives.
ISP professional training and workshops are offered on all continents; in the US, Brazil, UK, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Israel, Turkey, Russia, India, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan and Australia.
More than 2,000 mental health professionals have been trained in the ISP method.
More information and details about ISP, the training of 3 modules of 4 days, the curriculum, registration, etc. can be found here: ISP Professional Training 2025 - 2026
