Est-ce qu'il se d\u00e9tend et devient curieux ? ou est-ce que \u00e7a se tend et se contracte ? Pour la plupart d\u2019entre nous, ce sera la deuxi\u00e8me option. Fondamentalement, c\u2019est parce que nous sommes des animaux dont le syst\u00e8me nerveux est programm\u00e9 pour survivre. Et le simple fait de penser \u00e0 un traumatisme ou \u00e0 un \u00e9v\u00e9nement traumatisant ou stressant d\u00e9clenchera une r\u00e9ponse de survie dans notre syst\u00e8me nerveux. Heureusement, il existe une autre option.<\/p>\n<h3>Le syst\u00e8me nerveux<\/h3>\n<p>Le m\u00e9decin et neuroscientifique am\u00e9ricain Paul D. Maclean a invent\u00e9 le terme \u00ab Triune Brain \u00bb. En faisant des recherches sur le cerveau, il a d\u00e9couvert trois parties diff\u00e9rentes\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le cerveau du reptile (tronc c\u00e9r\u00e9bral) con\u00e7u pour survivre<\/li>\n<li>Le singe\/cerveau \u00e9motionnel (cerveau lymphique) con\u00e7u pour interagir avec d'autres membres de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Le Cerveau Humain (Neo Cortex) qui est con\u00e7u pour analyser, planifier, penser\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1372 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/traumahealing.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/1-V2HwTwGDaJci1_BCe3jG3g-300x155.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"155\" \/><\/p>\n<p>(La recherche est d\u00e9sormais d\u00e9pass\u00e9e, mais les principes d\u00e9crits s'appliquent toujours)<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019un des enseignements les plus utiles que j\u2019ai trouv\u00e9s est que ni notre tronc c\u00e9r\u00e9bral ni notre syst\u00e8me lymphatique ne comprennent le concept de temps. Notre Neo Cortex, au contraire, est lin\u00e9aire, rationnel et comprend le temps. En d\u2019autres termes, cela signifie que pour notre tronc c\u00e9r\u00e9bral et notre cerveau lymphatique, il n\u2019y a aucune diff\u00e9rence entre penser \u00e0 un \u00e9v\u00e9nement traumatisant survenu il y a des ann\u00e9es et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement lui-m\u00eame. En y pensant simplement (ou en ayant un autre d\u00e9clencheur comme une odeur ou une couleur), notre cerveau commencera \u00e0 cr\u00e9er les m\u00eames neurotransmetteurs et hormones que si nous vivons l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement lui-m\u00eame. Et \u00e0 mesure que le cerveau commence \u00e0 inonder notre corps de ces transmetteurs et hormones, nous commen\u00e7ons \u00e0 avoir l\u2019impression qu\u2019il existe une menace r\u00e9elle. Et \u00e0 mesure que nous commen\u00e7ons \u00e0 percevoir cette menace \u00e0 travers les sensations de notre corps, notre cerveau commencera \u00e0 \u00e9voluer encore plus vers une r\u00e9ponse de survie.<\/p>\n<h3>Le vortex du traumatisme<\/h3>\n<p>En th\u00e9rapie traumatique (par exemple l'exp\u00e9rience somatique), c'est ce que nous appelons le vortex traumatique. Un cercle visqueux qui nous fait plonger plus profond\u00e9ment dans la r\u00e9exp\u00e9rience du ou des \u00e9v\u00e9nements mena\u00e7ants. Et c\u2019est exactement ce que nous craignons lorsque nous pensons travailler avec nos traumatismes. Cependant, lorsque cela se produit, cela ne gu\u00e9rit presque jamais ni ne nous aide \u00e0 faire face \u00e0 nos traumatismes. En termes simples, la seule chose qui s\u2019est produite, c\u2019est que notre syst\u00e8me nerveux et notre corps ont renforc\u00e9 le c\u00e2blage associ\u00e9 aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements traumatisants. Nous avons emprunt\u00e9 le seul chemin que nous ayons connu dans la jungle. Nous avons v\u00e9cu une exp\u00e9rience que l\u2019on peut qualifier d\u2019intense, et on pourrait penser que nous avons travaill\u00e9 sur notre traumatisme. Et rien n\u2019a vraiment chang\u00e9 dans le c\u00e2blage de notre syst\u00e8me nerveux.<\/p>\n<h3>Le vortex de gu\u00e9rison<\/h3>\n<p>Il existe une autre possibilit\u00e9. Lorsque nous arrivons dans cette zone de jungle dans notre syst\u00e8me, au lieu de simplement commencer \u00e0 parcourir ce chemin bien connu, nous nous dirigeons vers la lisi\u00e8re de la jungle et commen\u00e7ons lentement \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un nouveau chemin \u00e0 travers la jungle.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1370\" src=\"https:\/\/traumahealing.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/softdragon_01846_an_ultrarealistic_birdseye_view_of_a_jungle_wi_22e5577b-1c8c-463a-972a-2f9528448546-300x168.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Une voie o\u00f9 nous avons plus d'action dans nos r\u00e9actions, une voie o\u00f9 notre syst\u00e8me nerveux sera plus r\u00e9gul\u00e9 lorsque nous marcherons dans la jungle. Nous aidons notre syst\u00e8me \u00e0 compl\u00e9ter les r\u00e9ponses d\u00e9fensives (combat, fuite, ..) qu'il n'a pas pu compl\u00e9ter lors de l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement d'origine. Fondamentalement, au lieu de revisiter le traumatisme, nous aidons notre syst\u00e8me nerveux et notre corps \u00e0 se r\u00e9parer en cr\u00e9ant des exp\u00e9riences utiles, r\u00e9gulatrices et \u00e9largissant la fen\u00eatre de tol\u00e9rance.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est ce qui devrait se produire lorsque vous travaillez \u2013 que ce soit lors d\u2019une s\u00e9ance personnelle ou en groupe comme un atelier \u2013 avec votre traumatisme. Si vous souhaitez vraiment changer votre c\u00e2blage, commen\u00e7ons par cr\u00e9er de nouvelles exp\u00e9riences positives dans votre syst\u00e8me nerveux li\u00e9es aux anciens d\u00e9clencheurs.<\/p>\n<p><em>Avertissement\u00a0: chaque nouvelle manque de nuances. Il y a donc beaucoup plus \u00e0 d\u00e9baller et beaucoup plus de clarifications possibles dans l\u2019histoire ci-dessus.
